We will update the Status column as wait listed runners are offered a spot. We will include the date so future wait listers can refer to it.
Remember that if a Race Admin or Sponsor runner withdraws that aid station or sponsor will have the opportunity to put in another runner. If they decline, or if it is any other runner or if a Golden Ticket spot goes unclaimed, the next runner on the wait list will have the opportunity to run the 2017 race.
Since 2017 is the first year we’re using a wait list, we don’t have historical data on how many come off the wait list. But here are the rates and numbers of DNS the last four years:
