Date: June 6, 2026
Help us prepare our trails for public use and our 2026 events.
On the morning of Saturday June 6th we will meet at 8:00 AM at the former Foresthill Elementary School, where the WSER Aid Station is located. The address is 24750 Main St, Foresthill, CA. Although we plan to work on the Eldorado Canyon and North/Middle Fork Canyon sections of the trail our work location may change due to weather or trail needs.
Expect to work a full day, with a commute on foot of 4-10 miles in steep terrain. Required clothing includes long sleeve shirt, long pants, sturdy boots (no running shoes), work gloves, and weather appropriate clothing. We will provide hard hats and eye protection (if you don’t have it). The work will include cutting and/or moving vegetation, dirt, and/or rocks.
We will send out more detailed instructions, including any changes to meeting place or work locations, about 1 week prior to this trail work day.
