Date: July 8, 2023
This post-race work will be prep work for the “compromise trail” on the descent from Red Star Ridge into the Duncan Canyon Aid Station. We will be doing corridor work, which is brushing with chainsaws and loppers to make a corridor for a new section of trail. Expect to work a long hard day with a commute on foot of 5 miles round trip in steep terrain. Bring lunch, water, long sleeve shirt, long pants, sturdy boots, gloves, and weather appropriate clothing. We will provide hard hats and eye protection (if needed).
We will meet at Duncan Canyon aid station parking area at 9 am.
